A Message from our Principal

Kris Brown photoAs principal of Holy Rosary School it is my privilege to welcome you to our new website. I have been involved with the education of students at Holy Rosary School for nearly 20 years. The longer I am here the more committed I become and the more amazed I am at the work we do for our young people. Enthusiasm, faith, compassion—lived out in service, and a love for learning characterize the staff, students and parents of our community. All of us are proud of the accomplishments of our students, both academically and spiritually. It is our hope that our students graduate with a sense of esteem and competence and the inner conviction that following in the footsteps of Jesus is most likely to lead to true success and happiness.

We are looking forward to another exciting and productive year. We have implemented new math and religion programs. Our students are focusing on the seven principles of Catholic Social Teaching. Our staff will begin reviewing our current social studies curriculum, with the intention of adopting a new program that is closely aligned to state standards. The teachers and students continue to expand their understanding and use of technology. A newly formed Development Committee begins working on new funding strategies to ensure Holy Rosary’s future. It is hard to believe that in seven years we will be celebrating our 100th Anniversary!

The interest and involvement of our parents and our parish continue to be instrumental in the ongoing success of our school. As long as the loving spark of commitment and generosity to Holy Rosary School is maintained, we will continue to serve faithfully both the Church and society.
