School Commission

The function of the School Commission is to set school policy and establish, approve and monitor the annual school budget. It does not interfere in the day-to-day administrative details of running the school. The School Commission meets regularly on the first Thursday of each month from September to June at 6:00 p.m. There are three open meetings each year.

Committees

The committees and goals come from the Holy Rosary School 2005-2010 (5 Year) Strategic Plan. Parent and parishioner participation, comments, and suggestions are welcome in any of these committees. Please feel free to contact the committee chairperson if you would like to help.

Endowment Board
The Endowment Board is governed by By-laws which designate membership. The Board is currently full, but feel free to contact Mary Rose Blatner if you are interested in sitting on this board should an opening arise.

Grants Committee
The Grants Committee’s general mission is to support the fundraising efforts of the school, particularly in technology and in other needs as they arise. Examples of past grants awarded are: SmartBoards, the Technology Center, wireless Internet connections, the Science Laboratory, the elevator, and drinking fountains.
