Español nos une / Spanish unite us

Welcome to another year of Español at Holy Rosary School, a temple of education, energy and happiness. Being at HRS has simply being an amazing experience, because it has given me the chance to pass on to kids the gift of knowing another language.

Facts: Spanish is the third most widely spoken language in the world. 250 million people speak Spanish as their native language: Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela and Spain all speak Spanish. Just think of how much fun it will be to travel to these countries and communicate in their own language… it’s the best way to understand other cultures and history. Spanish is the most popular second language spoken in the United States, because our proximity to Mexico and the large volume of Hispanic immigrants to this country. Children will have many more job opportunities if they are bilingual, both fluently.

As Christians we could be able to communicate, share and help others in different places around the world, the more languages you speak the more access you have to people. There is a nice scripture that says, “… study and learn, and become acquainted with all good books, and with languages, tongues and people”.

Muchas gracias
