Finals Schedule- The 8th grade class received their finals schedule a few weeks ago. They have a good calendar that includes finals and other important information.

May 20th- Next Tuesady, Father John will be hosting a pizza and pop party for the graduating 8th graders. Later that afternoon, the 8th grade students will be performing the liturgical dance at the end of the living rosary prayer service.

Thanks for making and purcahsing the 8th grade auction crosses.

Remember this is testing week. The 8th graders don’t take any standardized tests at this time. We are encouraging our to work hard and keep the school quiet for those classes that are testing.

Thanks to all the drivers for our trip to Olympia. We had an excellent tour, an easy commute, and talented guides. The 8th graders were charming and focused. They received several compliments for their behavior and enthusiasm.

Thanks to our volunteers for parent help at the retreat on Wednesday, March 5th. We will be at Camp Don Bosco. The theme of the retreat is Catholic Social Teaching.

Thanks to all parents who helped with our auction project. It is a great feeling to have the crosses completed at such an early date.

I hope you had a nice break. We look forward to working on the auction project this Friday.

Tonight’s 8th grade parent meeting starts at 6:00 in the School Hall.

Catholic Schools Week means lots of activities as we take time to celebrate our great school community. The 8th Graders will be playing the teachers in the annual volleyball game on Friday. The game should start by 1:45.

Parent Meeting - We will have a meeting for the 8th grade parents on Monday, February 4 at 6:00 in the School Hall. This meeting will be under an hour long. We will discuss the schedule for the second half of the year. The major topics covered will be high school acceptance process, scholarship opportunities, graduation and end of the year activities, and upcoming field trips.

8th Grade students will be participating in the Christmas program for the last time Thursday evening at 7.

I hope everyone had a nice break. The 8th grade class has a project due and a test next week.

Please hand in the Confidential Teacher Evalution Form and the Transcript Request by Monday, December 3rd.

Our first 8th grade pizza lunch is Thursday, November 15th. Thanks to all the parents who are helping out.

We have received several high school forms from the 8th graders. We would like to have the Teacher Evaluation Sheet and the Transcript Release Form handed in by December 3. Please remember to sign up for placement tests.
